Giving youth a voice and letting them know it matters. That’s Monique Coleman’s personal mission, which drives her dedication as Allstate Foundation Good Starts Young Ambassador.
“I’ll be able to have a giant impact helping youth achieve their own dreams.”
As ambassador, she judged the Allstate Foundation Good Starts Young Rally in 2017. The event honored 10 teams of inspiring teens from across the country, including siblings Logan, Amber and Amy Haskill. As a result of their hard work to create an initiative that collects donated clothing for foster children, Allstate Foundation collaborator Peace First awarded them a $10,000 grant.
For Monique, helping youth has always been about giving back and doing something bigger than herself. That meant partnering with Allstate Foundation Good Starts to help youth unlock their full potential. From WE Day stages across the country and during the annual WE Day Special, Monique highlights stories of young people empowered to take action to help better their schools and local communities.
